Susan Boyle: Simon Cowell Is The Best Boss!

She appeared at the stage of Britain’s Got Talent back in 2009 and had our jaws dropping the second she started singing! Susan Boyle’s must definitely be one of the most surprising auditions ever and one that we still remember clearly after almost ten years.

Susan may not have won the competition back then but her cover of I Dreamed A Dream shot her career through the roof and impressed the hardest judge to please, Simon Cowell, who has been by her side every step of the way since then.

We have many times watched Simon absolutely destroying contestants in his shows by delivering brutally honest –yet harsh- critiques over their performances and we remember that his first impression of Susan was not quite positive, too. However, Susan, with her angelic voice, really swept him off his feet (just like she did with each and every one of us) when she opened her mouth and the first few notes came out!

Since then, Susan has been working for Syco Music, Simon Cowell’s record label, and according to The Sun, she has already sold more than 25 million records all over the world! Amazing, right?

When asked about her drive, though, she gave an answer no one was expecting. Boyle said that her biggest inspiration is Simon himself and that she has been enjoying to the maximum all ten years she has been working for him. She added that his ability to make her pursue perfection and be the best that she can is the star quality she seeks in the perfect boss and she has definitely found that in Simon.

But what caught us totally by surprise is that according to Susan, Simon is not always the brutally sincere and harsh person that he comes out as but he also has a tender side.

Regardless, Simon Cowell recognizes a star in the making when he sees one. Just remember that he is the man behind the fruitful career of multiple A-listers like Leona Lewis, One Direction, Kelly Clarkson, Fifth Harmony and many many more.

Susan is making her big comeback this year by competing in America’s Got Talent: The Champions and the show airs on NBC. Do you think she is going to be the winner this time?
