North Korea sent a chilling message to the Trump administration on Friday that it would suspend talks with the United States and resume it’s nuclear arms program, as communicated by their leader Kim Jong-Un
While addressing a congregation of foreign correspondents and diplomats in Pyongyang, Vice Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui reiterated that despite the recent communication by the Supreme leader, relations between Mr. Trump and Mr. Kim were still good and the chemistry was wonderful.
Nevertheless, she insisted that Mr. Trump’s national security advisor, John Bolton, as well as the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, had caused an atmosphere of mistrust and hostility that had slowed down the negotiations taking place in Hanoi in February.
After the meeting in Hanoi failed to broker a decisive deal, Leader Kim Jong-Un was unsure on whether to resume negotiations with the Trump administration, as Ms Choe stated.
According to a report released by the Associated Press in Pyongyang, Ms Choe said that North Korea does not have the intention to compromise with the United States in any way nor the desire to conduct an unfair negotiation.
